Our philosophy is unique because we do not view therapy so much as someone coming in for "help," as much as we view it as someone coming in for "change." Changes are often measured by a series of goals being met or a process being pursued. Basically, it is about balancing self-improvement with contentment.

People tend to seek when they feel like they are in between decisions, life-changing events, losses, loves or traumas.  The common struggle is learning how to see life through different lenses while staying anchored to everyday duties. Yet, what usually tips the scales of balance is stress or the reaction to it. Research has found that stress runs through almost every person’s narrative. Whether it is from trauma and death or from betrayals and failures; all of which can influence the quality of life we desire. It is triggered in many ways, but often rooted in suffering from the past; the discomfort of the present and uncertainty of the future.

The work is derived from turning stressful states into transformation. Ultimately transformation is change that leads to awareness. Thus, our ideal client is one who is open to change and engaged to do the work in a collaborative and healing fashion.
